Alimentando el cambio juntos

30 October 2020

Hunger and malnutrition are the biggest risks to health worldwide. The latest available statistics indicate that 1 in 9 people do not get enough food to be healthy. Under the COVID-19 crisis, we are facing an unprecedented sanitary and food crisis. On October 30th, we are joining Alimentando el cambio for a series of webinars that aim to encourage sustainable and healthy habits for all of us. On this occasion, our founder and director, Alberto Alemanno, will discuss how to best interact with our representatives and get them to act upon this issue.

Alberto Alemanno is the founder of The Good Lobby and Jean Monnet Professor in EU Law at HEC Paris since 2009. He has an extensive career as an academic and public activist. For the last decade, he has devoted his work on the democratisation of the European Union in areas such as public health, consumer rights and food policy as well as legal education reform. He has developed the concept of citizen lobbying to rethink representative democracy in the national and transnational space
