On the 3rd of May, 8pm CET, Europe Matters Club in collaboration with European Campaign Playbook is organising a Clubhouse event on the topic “How to change the European Union?

In this interview with prof. Alberto Alemanno on Clubhouse, Paolo Destilo and Giulia Sarti from the European Campaign Playbook will delve into the mechanisms of the Conference on the Future of Europe (CoFoE) and the opportunities that it will bring. This participatory exercise by the EU institutions could give rise to a more political and democratic Europe.

Alberto Alemanno

Alberto Alemanno is the founder of The Good Lobby and Jean Monnet Professor in EU Law at HEC Paris since 2009. He has an extensive career as an academic and public activist. For the last decade, he has devoted his work to the democratisation of the European Union in areas such as public health, consumer rights and food policy as well as legal education reform. He has developed the concept of citizen lobbying to rethink representative democracy in the national and transnational space.
