Episode 8 I How should lobbying be regulated?

by

We regulate lobbying to prevent corruption, but the aim should instead be to enable everyone to gain access to the policy process. Lobbying is a legitimate component of the democratic process.

In this new episode of Citizen Lobbyist, our podcast hosts, Fiorella Lavorgna and Professor Alberto Alemanno continue demystifying lobbying, this time discussing why we regulate lobbying. They do so together with Margarida Silva, Researcher and Campaigner at Corporate Europe Observatory, Joseph Foti, Chief Research Office Open Government Partnership and Daniel Freund, Member of the European Parliament for the Greens.
