The Good Lobby and its network of pro bono lawyers and academics have supported four European judges associations in their unprecedented legal challenge against the Council of the EU’s decision to approve Poland’s Recovery Plan.
This action is intended to defend the interests of the judiciary including Polish judges currently subjected to disciplinary proceedings, sanctions, and involuntary transfers, in breach of EU law and the rule of law itself. It asks the General Court of the EU to declare the Council decision null and void to prevent the Polish government from receiving EU funds while in breach of the rule of law
